With 1.5 million visitors each year , the Edinburgh Castle Cafes are all about slick operation, customer flow and speed of service. 442 designed and refurbished the historic part of the castle into a modern Benugo cafe and events space. With stunning views across the city the Rooms are very popular events venues so flexibility is key. A new servery and coffee area complete with pizza oven was introduced. An improved layout with new furniture, fixtures and fittings helped increase customer spend considerably.
